I regret I will not be at the service, but my heart is with you all. I do want to share some memories.
Bobbie Edge can truly be remembered as a lady with a caring and giving heart. What a legacy!
I have many good memories of Bobbie and I traveling. I was blessed each time she invited me. In all her travels, her priorty was to buy gifts for everyone back home, especially the grandchildren. Our first big trip, she drove me, 2 of my kids and 2 of hers to Disney World. What a great time inspite of the rain. We left the park on the last group out, wet tired and sleepy. We were not aware the exit was in a different direction from the entrance. So after many miles realizing we were headed to Miami, we knew we had to turn back. Finally we found our hotel. We were hesitant to drive anywhere else that night, so we went to their restaurant, quite upscale for our motley bunch, we ate there anyway. I remember Todd ordering two entres. Making memories is wonderful.
In 1985 after I had moved to Carolina Beach, Bobbie called. I was so excited I asked was she at the beach and coming to visit. She said "no, I have something better". She asked if I would go to Acapulco. I didn't even know where Acapulco was but it sounded exciting. Then when Bobbie told me I would have to get a passport I knew it was special.Because of Bobbie I got my first passport. That trip was too beautiful to describe and the food was outstanding..But Bobbie couldn't wait to get back to the states and get a hamburger.
Another fabulous trip Bobbie took me to Calif. We stayed at the famous Del Coronada near San Diego. What a place!!! When the shuttle drove us from the airport and pulled up at the entrance, Bobbie and I both said do you think they made a mistake. Wow-What a place! Wonderful memories.
And the cruise, another blessing from the heart of a caring lady.
There will always be a place in my heart for Bobbie Edge. Then the rejoicing when we meet again in the arms of Jesus.
You are a blessed family to have been in her life. Rejoice and be happy, she would want that.

Mother loved celebrating birthdays! She loved shopping for gifts & insisted on wrapping the gifts instead of using gift bags. She wanted your special day to be truly special and she was willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen. Guess it is somehow fitting she chose to go to heaven on Heather's birthday. This will only serve to make Heather's birthday forever extra special-more than ever before. Mother was wonderful & I miss her so much. Love you Mama.....~Barbara~

My very favoriate memory of Grandma Bobbie was at Dori & Roy's wedding reception! We all danced and danced and danced!!! Grandma Bobbie's sweet mama was also there but wheelchair-bound. I overheard Grandma Bobbie quietly wish that her mama could get out on the dance floor with everybody!! So as soon as another fast song beckoned for us to boogie, I quickly whispered for Grandmother to hold on....we're gonna dance!! Grandma Bobbie and many others smiled, laughed and danced a Conga line around the dance floor, between tables, down the hall and back again!!! Still makes me smile!!!

So, Grandma Bobbie....."I thank my God upon every rememberance of you." Philippians 1:3
