So many times people go through life wondering why that can’t…don’t…They don’t understand why other people do!

It’s simple. You can’t get far when you’re lugging tons of garbage around with you! (and it’s exhausting!)

Most people live life picking up a little trash here, a little trash there. Instead of throwing it away they just hold on to it and then pick up some more.

Garbage like:

You always _____

You never______

You should______

You’ll never______

You’ll always______

You can’t______

You won’t_____

You shouldn’t______

Then there’s:

You’ve gotta have money to make money

You’ve got to “work hard and sacrifice”

That won’t work

You can’t do that!

Nobody does that!

Be careful!

Don’t make a mistake!

Don’t fall!

Be safe!

You’re not good enough, smart enough, pretty enough, _____enough

No wonder you can’t get anywhere!

Now, you wouldn’t literally walk around stuffing garbage in your pockets, sleeves, shirt, etc. You would THROW IT AWAY! You would pick it up, look at it, determine it was trash and then CHOOSE to throw it away. You would only keep it if it was useful, right?

So, the next time one of those thoughts or “inside voices” rear up in your head, or the next time you hear the media say “the sky is falling”,or your neighbor, or mother, or whoever, tells you their OPINION,  look at it, and if it doesn’t add value to you or your life, throw it away!
